Over the years, the Chapter has been contributing its mite to the Development Sector by collaborating with Not for profit organizations and getting involved in outreach activities with these Not for profit organizations. Below are some of the initiatives of the Chapter.

Rs 1 lakh contribution to Anudip Foundation towards food distribution

PMI Bangalore Chapter made a financial contribution of Rs 1 lakh to Anudip Foundation to support their initiative of distributing food to very-low-income family groups whose primary bread-earners were affected due to COVID. Anudip's task force has delivered to their families at their homes as they were in the stage of isolation because of COVID infection and they were unable to go for work.


Oxygen Concentrators to Hemkunt Foundations

Chapter donated INR 1.00 Lakhs to Hemkunt Foundations to support this NGO towards its COVID relief efforts for purchasing Oxygen concentrators during the second wave.


Collaborating with Robin Hood Army for distribution of food

Chapter collaborated in a small way with the Robin Hood Army to distribute food for the needy. Robin Hood Army is a voluntary based Zero funds organization where food distributed to the needy is sourced from surplus or freshly cooked food on a goodwill basis.


TABS distributed to students in rural areas.

Chapter funded TABS, loaded with content of 10th Standard Syllabus, for students of Jayamangali Rural High School wherein the village has the challenge of electricity and internet connectivity during Covid period in Sept 2020


Environment Awareness Initiative with "Bhumi"

In order to create awareness about the environment among students, PMI Bangalore partnered with "Bhumi", one of India's largest independent youth volunteer non-profit organizations. As part of this awareness initiative, 295 students from Delhi Public School, Electronic City made about 1000 seed balls that would be dropped at open spaces.


Blood Donation Camp

As part of 50 years of Celebration of PMI, the Chapter organized a Blood Donation Camp for both members and non-members at Rotary Bangalore -TTK Blood Bank run by Bangalore Medical Services Trust, New Thippasandra.(Aug 2019)


Kerala CM’s Relief fund

Chapter donated INR 25K for cyclone through the PMI Kerala Chapter


Vidyadeepa (Light for Education) ePatashala Project

Aimed at distributing ePatashala materials Aids(distribute laptops/desktops to the schools) to around 100 schools around Bangalore, the Chapter supported a Bangalore Based NGO and by the end of January 2014 nearly 800 kits had been distributed.


Solar LED lamps for High School Students in rural areas

The program is aimed at providing battery powered LED Lamps to needy Grade 9 and Grade 10 students in rural areas in the outskirts of Bangalore for studying at night. The batteries get charged using solar power during the day so that there is no cost to the students.


Agile Scrum in a day- Learn by doing

The one day workshop is to introduce the participants to the fundamentals of Agile principles, concepts and practices of Agile Scrum.


One Day Seminar on Project Management

Chapter conducted for 11 successive years on behalf of a Bangalore based NGO for their fund raising efforts
