Advanced requirement practices for Agile & Traditional projects


Requirement changes beyond a certain degree has posed serious challenges to IT project success. While agile methodologies help overcome these challenges partially some problems still remain. For instance, frequent changes to requirements don’t throw the project off gear while using Scrum because of frequent releases but it can increase the number of sprints or releases thereby extending the project duration and cost.

Nagaraja Gundappa is a Chief Consultant at ACE, a software delivery training and consulting firm. He was a General Manager in Wipro Technologies before this and has over 25 years experience in IT industry.

He has spent 13 years in software delivery where he has delivered large, complex projects to global customers such as General Motors, Deloite & Touche, Dun & Brastreet etc.

He has moved to training and consulting after this where he has trained over 1500 project managers in project management related subjects. He has delivered results such as 13% reduction in overruns and 10 times reduction in defect rates in fixed price projects through training and mentoring initiatives.
